The Town of Carrboro recognizes the benefits and interest of having special events within the Carrboro Community. A process has been established for citizens and local organizations and/or businesses to propose or inform the Town of Carrboro of intent to hold an event.
Those businesses wishing to notify the Town of Carrboro of their intent to host an event should complete the Community Event Pre-Application Form.
Those that have a desire to request support from the Town of Carrboro with their ideas can submit a Requested Town-Sponsored Event Interest Form. Submitted forms will be reviewed by a Town of Carrboro Special Events Committee. The decision for the Town to become a sponsoring partner will be based on some established criteria.
